About the opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, this is an opportunity to join WEVO’s expanding growth team. This role is crucial to the overall success of WEVO - we are looking for someone with experience to implement strategies in order to set our sales team up for success through training, coaching, and reporting. We are looking for someone to take us from $5M to $25M ARR. As part of WEVO’s senior leadership team, you must have excellent executive presence and cross-functional experience.

Responsibilities

The VP of Sales will be responsible for overseeing our entire new business team, including Account Executives and Business Development. You will create a successful onboarding plan for our team members and will provide ongoing coaching. You thrive in a consultative, enterprise sales environment.

  • Manage the WEVO sales organization: from Enterprise AEs to BDRs
  • Implement sales training
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Develop and implement strategies to address challenges throughout the sales process, which will lead to improving sales conversion rates
  • Attract top sales talent
  • Support team members in their day-to-day sales activities, including accurate sales forecasting and reporting

Experience

  • Proven experience in a B2B sales environment with particular experience in an enterprise environment, closing deals $50,000 to $1,000,000.
  • Passionate about coaching and leadership with experience mentoring and scaling a team of high-performing individuals
  • A team player through and through: you have no problem working cross-functionally with other leadership members and teams in order to drive our growth
  • Experience forecasting sales targets, setting goals and tracking this through tools like Hubspot
  • Experience growing a high-growth startup
  • Led a sales organization that grew from $5M to $25M ARR
